| Saturday, January 1, 2022 | Election period (to Friday, September 16). Campaigns must report all expenses incurred during the election period. |
| Monday, July 18, 2022 | Pre-campaign period (to Friday, September 16). At the beginning of this period, election advertising rules come into force and continue through general voting day. |
| Tuesday, August 2, 2022 | Deadline (4:30 pm) for Elector Organizations to file a registration application to participate in the 2022 General Local Election (must register with Elections BC; for more info contact: 1-800-661-8683 or electoral.finance@elections.bc.ca) |
