BC Parks work in ȽÁU,WELṈEW̱/John Dean Park

Crews from BC Parks and the BC Wildfire Service are currently working in ȽÁU,WELṈEW̱/John Dean Park to conduct tree falling and some controlled pile burning.

Plans to begin controlled burning have accelerated to take advantage of environmental conditions, and burning will commence today (November 9, 2021).

Residents and passersby in the area may note the presence of smoke from this burning. 

The BC Wildfire Service is communicating its plans and schedule for controlled burns with the North Saanich Fire Department.
