COVID-19 UPDATE

In response to the COVID-19 situation, the District has closed all its Municipal facilities to the public as of noon on Wednesday, March 18.

This includes the:

• Municipal Hall (1620 Mills Road)
• Green waste facility (10180 Littlewood Road)
• Firehall administrative services (986 Wain Road).

Staff will continue to deliver municipal services where possible by phone, 250-656-0781 and email: admin@northsaanich.ca. Please be advised that our response time may be longer than usual and some services may be delayed or unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience that may be experienced during these extraordinary times.

All committee and board meetings are postponed. Council and Committee of the Whole meetings will still take place with a change to the Council Procedure Bylaw to allow Council to conduct its meetings by electronic communications.

These measures are being taken to minimize the risk to our staff and community. We continue to monitor the situation and are taking direction from the Federal and Provincial Governments, Island Health and other authorities.
