Dianna Plouffe Appointed as Director of Corporate Services for the District of North Saanich

The District of North Saanich is pleased to announce the appointment of Dianna Plouffe as the new Director of Corporate Services, effective September 8, 2025.

Ms. Plouffe brings over 18 years of progressive experience in local government, including senior leadership roles in both northern and southern British Columbia. She most recently served as Director of Corporate Services for the District of Oak Bay, and previously held the position of Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Smithers.

During her tenure in Smithers, she led the development of the 2023–2026 Council Strategic Priorities Plan, finalized a new Official Community Plan, and established a new Community Services Department. She is known for her strong leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to delivering high-quality public service.

Ms. Plouffe’s appointment follows a competitive recruitment process, and her in-depth knowledge of municipal operations and corporate governance will help support the District’s ongoing efforts to deliver responsive and effective local government.
