Final Opportunity to Comment on Council’s Response to the Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs

Following the public feedback period that closed on July 22, Council have developed a revised response letter to the Honourable Christine Boyle, Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs.

Residents interested in Council’s response to the Province’s proposed housing directives are encouraged to attend a Special Meeting of Council on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

The July 29 meeting will be the final opportunity for residents to provide feedback before Council finalizes its response for submission to the Province.

The meeting agenda, revised draft response letter and information about how to participate will be available on the District’s Council Meeting Portal.

Please note: The Special Meeting of Council scheduled for Monday, July 27 will be held in camera. Residents interested in the response letter should attend the public meeting on Wednesday, July 29.
