You’re Invited: Wolf Orchard Park Opening!
Join us as we celebrate the opening of Wolf Orchard Park on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Located at 11004 West Saanich Road, Wolf Orchard Park was generously gifted to the District through the estate of longtime resident Gerhard (Gerry) Furstenau. In keeping with his wishes, the park is named in honour of his brother and will be a place for the whole community to enjoy.
Gerry lived on the property for nearly 70 years and built strong ties with the community, including a special connection with Deep Cove Elementary School, whose student gardening program on the property has brought enjoyment to so many.
We invite residents to join us in recognizing Gerry’s legacy and celebrating this special new community park.
