Water and Sewer Payment Options
To submit an online bank payment for utilities, you will need to add the District as a payee:
- Log–on to your online banking account and select “Add Payee”
- Enter “North Saanich” in the search bar and everything from the District of North Saanich should populate
- More than one North Saanich payee will appear, select the water/utilities option
- Your 14–digit account number can be found on your utility bill beginning with either “010” or “020”
Please be advised that the District of North Saanich can sometimes be confused with the District of Saanich or the District of Central Saanich via online banking interfaces. Accordingly, please ensure that you select your North Saanich account to avoid sending payments to the wrong municipality.
Please note that the District does not accept e–transfers.
Pre-Authorized Withdrawal
You can arrange to have your utility account balance automatically withdrawn from your bank account on each due date. To sign up for this service, complete the authorization form. If you need to cancel this service, please complete the modification form.
At your bank
Utility bills are payable in person at most financial institutions.

Cheques can also be dropped off in our Secure Drop Box located outside the main entrance of the Municipal Hall. Please do not deposit cash in the drop box.
Please note that the District does not accept credit card payments at this time.
