Accessibility plan underway – we’d love your input
The District of North Saanich is collaborating with our neighbours at the Town of Sidney, the District of Central Saanich and the Central Saanich Police Service to complete the first ever municipal accessibility plans for our municipalities. We are working with accessibility experts Left Turn Right Turn to identify common barriers to accessibility and to create a roadmap to accessibility on the Saanich Peninsula. Once this process is complete, each municipality will have its own accessibility plan, developed in consultation with the Saanich Peninsula Accessibility Advisory Committee (SPAAC). The plans are expected to be complete by Fall 2023.
