Highlights on use of Canada Community Building Fund – 2023
Canada Community Building Fund (CCBF) is a permanent source of federal funding for local infrastructure. Funds are provided to communities up front, twice a year, and can be strategically invested on eligible projects to address local priorities. For 2023, the District of North Saanich received a total of $577,184.36.
Projects that were funded for this year are the following:
- Reay Creek Pedestrian Link (work in progress)
- Drainage Master Plan (completed in 2023)
- McDonald Park Road Multi-Use Path Conceptual Design (work completed in 2023)
- Lands End Road Multi-Use Path Conceptual Design (work in progress)
- Water Main Replacement Project – Phase 5 (Work completed in 2023)
