Reay Creek Pedestrian Link complete!

Great news, North Saanich and Sidney residents! The construction on the Reay Creek Bridge is now complete and officially open to the public!
This bridge marks an important step in our ongoing partnership with the Town of Sidney as we explored the creation of a pedestrian link between Reay Creek Park in North Saanich and Peter Grant Park in Sidney.
The link will enhance connectivity and offer a beautiful new way for residents to enjoy the natural spaces in both communities.
Back in December 2022, DNS council directed staff to move forward with this project, and thanks to the tremendous collaboration and support from the Town of Sidney, including its financial contribution of $60,000, we’ve made this vision a reality.
We’re excited for you to enjoy the new bridge, and we look forward to continued improvements in our shared community spaces!
