Restricted beach access at Norris Rd July 28

There will be no access to the public beach at the bottom of Norris Road on Thursday, July 28, from 8:00 am-2:00 pm, when transport trucks will be delivering construction materials for a nearby residence on Madrona Drive.

The Universal Group, certified Traffic Management Personnel, will be managing traffic along impacted areas of Norris Road and Madrona Drive as the trucks deliver their loads to a staging area at the bottom of Norris Road.

People who wish to enjoy the shoreline in this neighbourhood during this period are advised to use the beach access at Downey Road, to the north, or at Towner Road, to the south.

As many as four more deliveries to the same residence may be scheduled over the coming months (dates TBD).
