Council Meetings Cancelled, Snow Removal in Progress

Please be advised that the District of North Saanich Special meeting of Council scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on February 3, 2025, and the Regular meeting of Council scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on February 3, 2025, have both been cancelled due to inclement weather.
 
Agenda Items from the February 3, 2025, Regular meeting of Council will be deferred accordingly to the February 10, 2025, Special meeting of Council or February 24, 2025, Regular meeting of Council.
 
The Municipal Hall will remain open to the public, but we recommend avoiding unnecessary visits if possible.
 
District crews will be working hard to clear the roads. Our priority is to ensure emergency responders can safely navigate routes throughout North Saanich communities. As such, crews will clear North Saanich roads in this order of priority: major and emergency routes, hills, and curves; then secondary and connector roads; and then residential streets and cul-de-sacs. We thank the residents of North Saanich for working together as a community when winter weather hits by clearing walkways around your property, avoiding parking on roads (which can prevent them from being cleared), and checking on and assisting your neighbours.
