Greater Victoria Flower Count 2025

Destination Greater Victoria invites North Saanich residents to participate in the 2025 Greater Victoria Flower Count. The annual event takes place just before the start of spring, and this year marks the 50th milestone of a beloved tradition!

The flower count begins today, March 5, and will run for one week, ending on March 12.

We encourage you to get involved and count (safely, of course) while seeing all the beauty this area has to offer. Participating municipalities across Greater Victoria can take up the challenge to be the “Bloomingest Community” by counting blooms and submitting their totals online at www.flowercount.com. Flower counts are tallied by municipality, so whether you live on the Saanich Peninsula or in Sooke, every flower counts both for your community and the overall total.
