Chalet Beach No Swimming Advisory Lifted

The no swimming advisory issued for the Chalet Beach, Tatlow Beach Access earlier this month has been lifted. Both resample tests have come back as satisfactory.

The beach sampling program is activated each year between mid-May to September. Each summer, Environmental Health Officers review water quality results from samples taken at popular beach areas, and Island Health monitors water quality at swimming destinations on the Island. As a result, there are times when various beaches on the Island have advisories or closures.

Further details are available on the Island Health website.
