North Saanich Chief Administrative Officer resigns

Tim Tanton has decided to conclude his employment with the District of North Saanich to pursue other opportunities. He is resigning from his position as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the District of North Saanich, effective June 1, 2023. Mr. Tanton joined the District in this role in January 2019 after 20 years’ experience in municipal government across the region.

“The staff team at North Saanich really is fantastic”, said Mr. Tanton. “I will miss working with these professionals and their wealth of experience, sense of humour, and team spirit.”

Stephanie Munro, current Director of Financial Services and an employee of the District since 2012, has been named Acting CAO until a permanent replacement has been named by Mayor and Council.

“On behalf of Council, we wish Mr. Tanton all the best in his next chapter and thank him for his many years of service to North Saanich,” said Mayor Peter Jones.
