Open house to discuss the future of North Saanich Parks

The District of North Saanich invites members of the public to attend an open house to discuss the future of North Saanich Parks.

This drop-in style open house will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 3-8 p.m. at the municipal hall, 1620 Mills Road. North Saanich staff will be on hand to speak to residents and answer any questions.

Other engagement opportunities are also underway including an online survey, where residents are invited to share their thoughts and perspectives on how they currently use North Saanich parks, trails, and beach accesses.

The Parks Master Plan will guide the future planning, design, protection and maintenance of new and existing park infrastructure and amenities in both the natural and built environments over the next 10 years.

Residents are encouraged to review the State of the Parks Report, which provides an overview of the current condition of parks and trails within the District of North Saanich. It also offers insights into the District’s natural assets, demographics, and environmental considerations that collectively shape the management and planning of its outdoor recreation spaces.

For more information, to take the survey, and to read the State of Parks Report and other resources, visit northsaanich.ca/parks-plan
