Paving on Downey Road begins today with extended completion date

Paving began today on Downey Road, starting at Madrona Drive and moving east towards West Saanich Road. We have been informed that the project is likely to take longer than the three days initially anticipated and should be completed within six days. Expect temporary road and lane closures, causing delays. Please utilize Wain, Cromar and Norris Road to avoid the area and obey traffic flaggers directions.
