The Peninsula & Area Agricultural Commission (PAAC) is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in serving as members on the Commission.
Interested individuals are invited to submit their applications to the District of Saanich who provides administrative support for the PAAC and manages the appointment process. Application deadline is November 22, 2019. For submission details, please see the application form.
The Peninsula & Area Agricultural Commission is an advisory committee whose mandate is to advise the Municipalities of Central Saanich, Metchosin, North Saanich, Saanich, Sidney and the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area on matters involving agriculture, and, to facilitate the development of programs for implementation of the Saanich Peninsula Agricultural Strategy objectives and keep the Municipalities advised of these programs.
