Proclamation for KidSport BC, Powered by Sport BC Week

Mayor Peter Jones has proclaimed October 1 to 7, 2023, to be KidSport BC, Powered by Sport BC Week.

To date, KidSport chapters across the province have provided sport registration grants to more than 80,000 kids who face financial barriers across British Columbia. They encourage and promote partnerships and support at a local level between businesses, professional sport groups, organizations, and the community at large by raising awareness and funds to support local kids.
