Tree Protection Bylaw – Phase 3 survey closed

The District of North Saanich’s survey on the Tree Protection Bylaw review closed on April 22.

District staff received 397 responses to the survey, which opened on March 23.

An additional component of public engagement activities during Phase 3 was the opportunity to meet staff at an open house: 86 people attended virtual and in-person open houses hosted by the District in March and April.

Staff are currently analyzing and summarizing the survey feedback and will report back to Council this summer with an engagement summary report and recommendations to Council to help inform potential revisions to the draft Tree Protection Bylaw.

More information about the Tree Protection Bylaw review is available at www.connectnorthsaanich.ca/tree-bylaw.
